Salone di Genova 2010: si o no?

Amici di Qajaq,

vi vogliamo sottoporre un tema sul quale stiamo riflettendo e vorremmo conoscere il vostro punto di vista.

Siamo nel 2010, i media e i modi di fare business sono stati rivoluzionati dal web. Comunicare, incontrarsi, relazionarsi oggi non ha nulla a che vedere con i modi ed i tempi di soli pochi anni fa.

Qajaq da molto tempo partecipa al Salone Nautico di Genova come espositore, è un pò un appuntamento classico che ci permette di incontrarci con gli appassionati di kayak da mare.
Da tempo stiamo facendo delle riflessioni in merito a questo appuntamento.
Il Salone Nautico di Genova non è un fiera specifica per il kayak e presenta alcuni svantaggi per chi vuole parlare di kayak e basta.
Stiamo pensando di sostituire questo appuntamento con qualcosa di alternativo.
L'idea è quello di creare due/tre appuntamenti ad hoc in tre località diverse, dove si ci può incontrare facilmente, valutare con calma il modello più adatto.
Queste località potrebbero essere:

Genova/livorno (1° week-end ottobre)
Roma/Napoli (2° week-end ottobre)
Lago di Como (3° week-end ottobre)

Il tipo di appuntamento si svolgerebbe durante un week end (un sabato e domenica).
La location sarebbe direttamente sul mare/lago (stazione balneare, spiaggia, lido) e si potrebbero anche testare i modelli.

Cari amici Qajaq,

da poco abbiamo lanciato questo nuovo mezzo di comunicazione per parlarvi e farvi parlare del caro tema Qajaq.
Il blog è stato pensato per comunicare di più e più rapidamente, farvi comunicare e creare una comunità più informata sui prodotti Qajaq.
Il blog è multilingua, sono accettate tutte lingue (dialetti compresi). Vi chiediamo scusa se molto spesso i post sono in inglese. Certo dovremmo parlare ITALIANO ma questo complicherebbe non poco. Purtroppo o per fortuna (così è se vi pare) la lingua inglese è internazionale e comunque oggi le traduzioni sono offerte da google con un click.
Qajaq, molti di voi lo sapranno già, è una piccola azienda che produce "ancora" Kayaks da mare di qualità, completamente fatti a mano, dedicando tutto il tempo e cura necessari ad un prodotto che merita.
Un business letteralmente fuori mercato, in un mondo dove molti producono in qualche parte in oriente e dove il primo e più importante parametro è il costo della manodopera.
Noi ci ostiniamo contro vento e correnti, cercando di offrire nel mercato qualcosa di vero, di puro. Un kayak del resto è fatto per resistere a onde, mari incazzati, avventure sperdute nel globo. Risparmiare sulla qualità non è il nostro slogan, a costo di andare sottocosto.
Ma ritornando al blog, e conludento questa breve presentazione, vi invitiamo a seguirci e soprattutto a farvi vivi (utilizzando voi stessi il blog) con commenti, suggerimenti, post su tutto quello che ha a che fare con il mondo Qajaq.

from little we have launched this new way of communication to speak to you and let you talk about us. The blog was thought to communicate more and more quickly and create a Community more informed about Qajaq products. The blog is multilingual, are accepted all languages (dialects included).
Qajaq, many of you know already, is a small company that "still" produces Quality fibreglass Sea Kayak, completely hand made, dedicating all the time and care necessary to a product it deserves. How is made a Qajaq

Here in Qajaq we still produce hand made kayaks. The whole manufacturing is made in our yard, by few expert kayakmakers that love to create kayak of high quality.

Here there is some pictures that show how the last phases of the production are cared. Note that the kayak is completely saved by a nylon preservative bag and only the cockpit area is open to work.

This protections allow to eliminate even the smallest damages.

Il paraspruzzi Etreme Tour è considerato uno dei migliori prodotti oggi esistenti. E' realizzato in neoprene e nylon, è regolabile ed il livello di rifinitura è molto curato.
La misura grande è adatta ai pozzetti grandi della linea Qajaq, mentre il piccolo è appositamente realizzato per i pozzetti piccoli e medi della lineq Qajaq.

Skeg position in Aqua

After several requests from owner and dealer we move the position of the skeg bottom in the Aqua model. Now this position doesn't hurts in the leg.
The solutions for the skeg bottom is tailor made and we can satisfy even other positions.

The colour showed in the picture is a clear vintage blu with clear metallic grey, doble central line.

Avanaq MV

Avanaq is a special kayak, with a design very close to a traditional kayak, with a low rocker, slim, round hull.
Is a fast kayak that we produce with three different hull: Normal, Fast, Agile.
The Fast hull is very tracking in the water. Superb for fast ride in flat water, less suitable for open water in presence of lateral wind.
The most request hull are the Normal and the Agile.
The normal have more loser ends and is a good compromising between fastness and navigation in open sea.
Agile is the most handling hull still fast but very manouvrable respect the others.
The three different hull can be combined with two different decks: a low one or a modified one called MV (medium volume).
In this MV we add volume to the front part of the deck and specially in the leg-foot area to make this kayak more confy for big guys or for the ones with big foot.

Here you have two different blue, grey rope, doble line.

A classic vintage: Bordeaux and Cream.

Test kayak aqua by Manolo Pastoriza (Espana)

Llevo un tiempo probando este fantastico kayak, Aqua de Qajaq Italy cedido por NordesKayak, a modo de Test para que lo pruebe (y disfrute).

En referencia al test:

Teste este kayak durante 6 meses, en todo tipo de condiciones de viento y mar, realizando pequeñas travesías, maniobras y esquimotajes, surfeando en playas y impartiendo cursos.

Características:

Construcción: Fibra de vidrio.

Eslora: 521 cm.
Manga: 52 cm.
Peso: 23kg aprox.
Bañera: 40x72 cm.
Volumen de la bodega delantera: 41 l.
Volumen de la bodega trasera: 53 l.
Volumen de la tercera bodega: 24 l.
Volumen dentro de la bañera: 149 l.
Volumen total: 267 l.
Equipamiento:
Tres tambuchos con tapas Valley. Una redonda delante, una oval trasera y una tercera también redonda para un tambucho pequeño detrás de la bañera.
Una orza abatible y ajustable con un mando colocado en el puente sobre el costado de babor.
Los reposapiés son cómodos y de fácil ajuste (es el único kayak que he probado donde estos se regulan con los pies).

El AQUA es un kayak de bajo volumen para salidas a diario, para travesías pequeñas de una semana, si minimizamos todo lo posible el material y los víveres.

Comportamiento:
Es un kayak muy maniobrable cuando se cantea y que mantiene bien el rumbo, bastante estable y rápido debido a su manga y a su casco ligeramente redondeado.

Al ser un kayak de proa y popa bajas los vientos le afectan en poca medida, teniendo que utilizar la orza cuando estos nos dan de aleta (La orza queda un poco justa, perdiendo efectividad a partir de F6 y haciéndose dura cuando la intentamos bajar o subir).

Su mejor cualidad la encontramos cuando navegamos con el viento y el mar de proa dando pocos pantocazos con olas pequeñas y cortas, remontándolas bien cuando son largas y altas (Mar de fondo). Navegando con mar de popa, y al surfear, nos obliga a estar atentos a los cambios de rumbo que se producen y tratar de corregirlos lo antes posible para que no se atraviese, respondiendo bien a las correcciones que hacemos con la cadera y la pala.

Cuando queremos practicar esquimotajes estos salen con facilidad, ya sean con final hacia popa como a proa por tener la cubierta baja y un buen agarre en las musleras.

Cuestiones que se podrían mejorar:

En mi humilde opinión, el Aqua es un kayak de construcción robusta y excelentes acabados, aunque en algunos detalles se podría mejorar: Un ejemplo, es la carencia de la línea de costura (Seam line) en el exterior, uniendo el casco con la cubierta. Otra cuestión, es la ausencia de los vierte aguas, donde van ubicadas las tapas de acceso a los tambuchos (en zonas de playa con arena, esta se queda alojada). También los cabos que sujetan las asas de porteo son cortos. La riñonera no sujeta adecuadamente y las cintas que hace que se mantenga levantada van ubicadas en unos orificios practicados en el borde exterior del aro de la bañera y en ocasiones se filtra un poco de agua. El asiento modelo sport que es el que tiene este kayak hace daño en la parte de atrás, en el culo, esto no ocurre con el otro modelo que podemos equipar en el kayak, el confort.

Conclusión:

Es un barco excelente para palistas de nivel intermedio-avanzado, comportándose muy bien en todo tipo de condiciones.
